Scott Petersen is the Vice President of Operations and the Project Management Office at The Better Education Company where he partners with educators to continuously improve school and students’ outcomes.
Scott spent the majority of his career with the IBM Corporation where he led diverse, multi-national teams dedicated to the design, development, deployment and support of world class software solutions. Within the education sector, he led the start-up and exponential growth of a curriculum based tablet application delivering content and resources to administrators, teachers and students. Scott’s professional successes led to long term international assignments in Italy and the United Kingdom.
Scott earned a Master’s Degree in Mechanical and Reliability Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University.
